The "Intuition du Nord" ritual oil, from the Ora’wan range, is a hymn to the cyclical nature of women, to their intuition and to their healing power. The oil is made from sacred sunflower oil, sea-buckthorn and sweetgrass. It smells sweet and delicious!
The "Intuition du Nord" ritual oil is the third in a series of four oils from the Ora’wan’ range, which means sunflower in the Wendat language. Sunflower oil had an important place in our traditional ceremonies. To pay homage to an important being, their hair was oiled during sacred ceremonies. This tradition inspired the Ora’wan range, to pay homage to ourselves on a daily basis by taking care of our body with awareness and love.
This range includes four ritual oils inspired by all dimensions of the Medicine Wheel: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
The "Intuition du Nord" ritual oil is inspired by our woman's inner winter, which corresponds to a period of returning to oneself. This is why this oil is associated with the spiritual dimension of the Medicine Wheel.
This oil is a tribute to the cyclical nature of women, to their intuition and their healing power.
The ritual oil "Intuition du Nord" is inspired by the sacred symbolism of sweetgrass, which represents the hair of our Mother Earth, and which is associated with the spiritual dimension of the Medicine Wheel, with our spiritual body which allows us to connect with greater than ourselves through the element of air. This energy of winter which invites us to return within and to let go of what is no longer serves us in order to bloom again in spring.
This oil is created from plants and essential oils: sweetgrass being one of them. This sacred plant is associated with the North dial in the Wheel of Medicine.
Ritual:
Connect with the virtues of the plants inside the oil. Leave an intention in homage to our body. Apply a thin layer of oil and massage into the skin. This oil can also be used in the bath to make the skin soft, smooth and hydrated.

Materials
- Sacred sunflower oil – softening : it brings softness and suppleness to the skin.
- Sweet almond oil – softening, creamy and very nourishing.
- Jojoba oil – helps nourish and firm dry skin. It preserves the natural hydration of the skin.
- Sea-buckthorn — emollient, antioxidant, full of fatty acids, omega, vitamins and minerals. This magical fruit soothes, regenerates, reduces redness and enlighten the skin. Exceptional vitamin C content, ideal for dull skin.
- Bergamot – sweet and lemony smell. It is calming and perfumes the skin wonderfully.
- Sweetgrass – sweet, sweet, comforting smell. Sweetgrass is a sacred plant that is associated with the North dial of the Indigenous Medicine Wheel. It represents our community, our values and our beliefs.
