Mother Earth ritual oil, from the Ora’wan range, is a hymn to women's creative power. Made of sacred sunflower oil and macerate-based with vanilla, fir and wild rose, it smells like heaven!
The Mother Earth ritual oil is the first in a collection of four oils from the Ora’wan’ range. Ora'wan' means sunflower in the Wendat language. Sunflower oil had an important place in our traditional ceremonies. To pay homage to an important being, their hair was oiled during sacred ceremonies. This tradition inspired the Ora’wan range, to pay homage to ourselves on a daily basis by taking care of our body with awareness and love.
This range includes four ritual oils inspired on all dimensions of the Medicine Wheel: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
The Mother Earth ritual oil is inspired by our own feminine ecosystem which is intimately linked to that of the earth. This is why this oil is associated with the physical dimension of the medicine wheel. Our physical body which allows us to create life on the back of the great turtle.
This oil is a hymn to our creative power, whatever it may be; projects, ideas, creations, little human beings, etc.
It is entirely created with oily macerates, without essential oils, in order to be safe for pregnant women.
In our language, we describe the pregnant woman this way: Tho okiendia’tih iwatia’tou’tenh which means: only the woman can carry life and that is of great significance. Our uterine center is beautiful and powerful and our ancestors used to celebrate it. Women are the heart of our nations.
Ritual:
Connect with the virtues of the plants inside the oil. Leave an intention in homage to our body. Apply a thin layer of oil and massage into the skin. This oil can also be used in the bath to make the skin soft, smooth and hydrated.

- Jojoba oil – helps nourish and firm dry skin. It preserves the natural hydration of the skin.
- Bourbon Vanilla – the smooth, captivating and sweet smell of Bourbon vanilla gently perfumes the skin. The macerate makes the skin softer and more elastic.
- Quebec's wild rose: flower of love, it allows the skin to regain its softness naturally. Its regenerating and anti-oxidant property is an ally to support the skin through aging..
- Chamomile: this magnificent flower helps to heal, sooth and calm skin irritations.
- Carrot – antioxidant : its beta-carotene content (pro-vitamin A) help the skin to glow and enlighten.
- Balsam fir: its smell is captivating, and its propreties are very appreciated to relaxe and heat up the muscles.
