FDG DESIGN
In 2018, Frédérique Desbiens-Gravel created FDG Design in Montreal with the goal of making local purchasing more accessible in Quebec. Sharing her passion for sewing, craftsmanship, and local purchasing, this young Montreal designer offers a selection of clothing for women aged 18 to 30, handmade in her Montreal workshop. By emphasizing quality and comfort, FDG Design aims to innovate in fashion design while encouraging young people to adopt ethical consumption behavior.
Social causes are at the heart of FDG Design's values. The company creates jobs and ensures ethical compensation for its workers, produces locally, and includes models from different ethnicities and body types in its photos. FDG is led by women, who use their social media platforms to advocate for women's rights.
