Shirt - {rock}

Made from beautiful longsleeves dip dyed charcoal longsleeves t-shirts I purchased a while back.

The treatment of the shirt is there to mimic a rock that I picked up while walking my dog by the train tracks. It may look like an ordinary rock but for some reason the textures and colours of it really speak to me. The shirts are all different. They have been dyed with residual matter from my print studio and with rusted objects taken from the train tracks as well. The black continuous print is handprinted with waterbased ink one circle at a time.

The longsleeves shirt have been sewn and dyed charcoal in Toronto from Canadian milled cotton.
