OSCAR MENDOZA
Oscar Mendoza, a Canadian-Mexican designer based in Montreal, founded his eponymous brand with the ambition of creating unique pieces that complement and distinguish the contemporary wardrobe of men and women. The brand advocates an artistic and original vision and seeks to integrate artisanal crafts in the design of its creations. In his Montreal studio, Oscar Mendoza collaborates with local and international artists for embroidery, artistic knitting, printing, and textile creation.
Inclusivity and the environment are core values of the brand. Against the overconsumption of goods, Oscar Mendoza believes that the design direction must respect the environment, be inclusive, foster a sense of community, and go beyond the need to solely satisfy production for monetary gain.
